Across academia, healthcare, finance, nonprofits, and the public sector, executives and boards expressed the same tension—urgency to act, responsibility to govern well, and uncertainty about how to move beyond hype. NuVert exists to close that gap.

Tim is a systems strategist, engineer, and executive educator working at the intersection of emerging technology, institutional transformation, and global public service.

Tim holds a combined BS–MS in Computer Science from Tufts University and is pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity at Harvard University, specializing in applied artificial intelligence. Prior to founding NuVert, he spent nearly five years at The MITRE Corporation as a systems, software, and security engineer, supporting advanced prototyping, secure system design, and AI-enabled operational systems for government and public-sector missions.

From Technical Practice to Public Service
Alongside his technical career, Tim developed a deep commitment to service and systems-level impact. He has built trusted relationships across Tufts, Harvard, and MIT, collaborating with deans, research leaders, and innovation centers to modernize education and institutional operations for the AI era. Internationally, he has advised ambassadors, senior officials, and youth leaders through multiple United Nations platforms on ethics, digital safety, and technology governance.
Alongside his technical career, Tim developed a deep commitment to service and systems-level impact. He has built trusted relationships across Tufts, Harvard, and MIT, collaborating with deans, research leaders, and innovation centers to modernize education and institutional operations for the AI era. Internationally, he has advised ambassadors, senior officials, and youth leaders through multiple United Nations platforms on ethics, digital safety, and technology governance.

NuVert emerged from an intensive discovery period in which Tim engaged with presidents, provosts, deans, CEOs, COOs, Chiefs of Staff, and board-adjacent executives across finance, healthcare, higher education, nonprofits, and other high-impact sectors. These conversations surfaced a consistent insight: while AI is advancing rapidly, leadership clarity is not keeping pace. Tim founded NuVert to address that imbalance, guided by a people-first philosophy that technology should serve human dignity, institutional responsibility, and the long-term public good.
